Fire and Smoke Emergency Kit

Fire and Smoke Emergency Kit

For people who live in bushfire prone areas, The Asthma Foundation in conjunction with Dane Taylor Technologies Pty Ltd, has developed an emergency kit for families. The kit includes an asthma bumbag, spacer, information and a Fair Air Fire mask with 2 filter pads. The Fair Air Fire Mask is the first highly fire resistant, reusable respirator that has a filter with life of at least ten washes.

The kit can be purchased from the Online Store for $90 including GST + postage and handling.

You can buy the Fair Air Fire Mask on it's own from the Online Store for $60 including GST + postage and handling.

The ACT Rural Fire Service, Chief Officer, Andrew Stark endorses the use of the Fair Air Fire Mask for use by ACT Rural Fire Service Fire Fighters. Read what Andrew Stark thinks about the masks.

Highly fire resistant, removes virtually all smoke particulates, easy to breathe through, comfortable to wear for long periods of time (as cool as possible), provides effective seal for all face types, reusable, maintains awareness of radiant heat proximity, quick to put on/ take off, one size fits all and easy to store.

Andrew's Asthma Attack

Andrew's Asthma Attack

Andrew Tait has made a decision to make a real difference and raise funds for asthma by completing 8 runs totalling over 100kms in 2014!

Andrew completed his latest run, the 15KM the Sunday Age City to Sea presented by Westpac on the 16th November. So far Andrew has raised over $9,000! Andrew's commitment to the Foundation and to strive to meet each of his goals is inspirational. He set a target for runs, for training and for fundraising. He has met them all. A great effort. Congratulations.
