Fire and Smoke Emergency Kit

For people who live in bushfire prone areas, The Asthma Foundation in conjunction with Dane Taylor Technologies Pty Ltd, has developed an emergency kit for families. The kit includes an asthma bumbag, spacer, information and a Fair Air Fire mask with 2 filter pads. The Fair Air Fire Mask is the first highly fire resistant, reusable respirator that has a filter with life of at least ten washes.

The Asthma Foundation encourages people in bushfire prone areas to have this kit handy to use when impacted by smoke and to add it to those items to take with them when they leave their home for a fire evacuation.

The kit can be purchased from the Online Store for $90 including GST+ postage and handling.

The ACT Rural Fire Service, Chief Officer, Andrew Stark endorses the use of the Fair Air Fire Mask for use by ACT
Rural Fire Service Fire Fighters. Read what Andrew Stark thinks about the masks
