The Asthma Foundation of Victoria’s Corporate Partnership Program

A Corporate Partnership with the Asthma Foundation offers a company the opportunity to connect its employees, customers, shareholders and suppliers with a cause. This relationship has the potential to demonstrate a company’s commitment to the community, be seen as a model corporate citizen and, commercially, make a difference to its bottom line.

At the Foundation we have made a commitment to deliver a professional corporate partnership program that provides real value for the investment a company makes.

“We work closely with our partners to create creative opportunities for them in their business and into the community. Whilst this is a business commitment our partners do not influence our core activities, professional judgment or the advice, resources and information we provide our clients”. Robin Ould, Chief Executive Officer.

Without the support of our corporate partners we would not be able to achieve what we do in helping people with asthma and their carers.

For further information relating to our corporate partnership program contact Sarah Flanagan on (03) 9326 7088.

Our Corporate Partners:

Dyson logo

Dyson Appliances, a key supporter of the Asthma Foundation of Australia since 1999, has helped to raise in excess of $1.6 million dollars which has been used for educational initiatives nationally.

In late 2007 Dyson launched its asthma resource site www.kidsbreathebetter.com.au developed specifically for parents who have children with asthma; this site is just one of the initiatives funded by Asthma Foundation Australia partner Dyson Appliances, who with the help of key retail partners Harvey Norman, Clive Peeters and Rick Hart, raised a massive $180,000 in late 2007 for the Foundation. This funding will go towards specific state-based education initiatives aimed at helping kids to breathe better.

“Dyson is proud to be a corporate partner with The Asthma Foundation. Our support is driven by Dyson’s concern that the prevalence of asthma continues to increase in Australia. An awareness of the need to avoid asthma triggers such as dust mites, pet hair and cigarette smoke assists in the management of asthma.”

“Besides providing technology that makes management of asthma and respiratory conditions easier, Dyson are leveraging our relationship with asthma to increase awareness of lifestyle management and provide education at a retail level.”

Karen Gentles, Marketing Manager, Dyson
