The Asthma Child and Adolescent Program
As part of the Australian Government’s national Asthma Management Program Asthma Australia have been funded to deliver a program to support Australian school students with asthma and linked chronic respiratory conditions.
The Asthma Child and Adolescent Program provides information and training for school and preschool staff to learn about asthma management and how to respond in an emergency. This program also provides information for parents and carers and support adolescents to improve their asthma self-management.
School Staff Education session
As part of the Asthma Child and Adolescent Program (ACAP), the Asthma Foundation of Victoria offers a FREE staff education session to all Victorian Schools. This is a one hour session and can be held in your school at your convenience.

Preschool Staff Education Session
The Asthma Foundation of Victoria also offers FREE staff asthma education sessions to all Victorian preschools (funded 4 year old programs). This is a one-hour session that will be held at central locations throughout Victoria or at your Service if there is a minimum of 5 staff attending.
