Botox Bid to Iron Out Asthma

IT works wonders on wrinkles, but Botox could soon help severe asthma sufferers breathe easier.

Melbourne researchers have launched a world-first trial that involves injecting botulinum toxin into the vocal cords of 30 asthma sufferers.

Monash Medical Centre clinicians have discovered that voice boxes of some severe asthmatics constrict during an attack.
