Vitamin D – A vital Agent to Prevent Mold Allergies

Various researches have confirmed that vitamin D is effective in preventing and treating allergies of the common mold and black mold symptoms as it is considered a vital therapeutic agent.

In people suffering from asthma and cystic fibrosis, fungal organisms such as the Aspergillus fumigatus can cause significant allergic symptoms.

Aspergillus fumigatus is a mold commonly found in bedroom pillows in residential environments, and usually affects people with weak immune system, asthma or any kind of lung disease.

It is very good news for allergy patients, Vitamin D available in these foods: Cod Liver Oil, Fish, Fortified Cereals, Oysters, Caviar (Black and Red), Fortified Soy Products, Salami, Ham, and Sausages, Fortified Dairy Products, Eggs, Mushrooms..

I have read about the benefits of vitamin D. It really seems to be across the board in terms of health. I did not realize that the primary way you can get vitamin D is through the sun. I guess it makes sense that people who live in sunny areas are able to do better with their asthma.
