Education Sessions in the community

Through the Community Support Program we also facilitate asthma education sessions in various community settings throughout Victoria, covering effective management of asthma and Asthma First Aid.

Within the Community Support Program there is a particular emphasis on providing support to:

• Older Australians,
• People living in low socio-economic areas,
• Rural and regional communities,
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and
• Cultural and Linguistically Diverse groups.

Group Asthma Education Sessions at Asthma Foundation of Victoria

If you or someone you care for has asthma, call the Asthma Foundation of Victoria to obtain further information. You can arrange to meet with of the Asthma Advisors at the Foundation find out more or you can make a reservation to attend a free education session to learn more about your asthma and how to manage it effectively.

The asthma education sessions are tailored to the specific needs requested by participants and are very helpful for anyone who hase asthma, who cares for someone with asthma or who just wants to know more!
